Manager of Training and Development, Certified Veterinary Technician & Puppy Trainer

Jodi works as a Lead Certified Veterinary Technician at our Apple Valley hospital. She is also our Puppy Start Right Preschool Trainer. Jodi enjoys all aspects of her job but is most passionate about educating clients on dog behavior. She enjoys helping people better understand what their dog is communicating through their body language and behavior. Jodi also loves to assist owners in starting early with Puppy Training as puppies learn the most in the first 16 weeks of life.

Before working at Vet Partners, Jodi got her AAS degree in Veterinary Technology at Ridgewater College in Willmar, MN in 2009 and became certified the same year. She is also a graduate of the Karen Pryor Puppy Start Right Instructors. Committed to teaching the most effective training techniques, Jodi pursues ongoing education and stays current on the best practiced dog training recommendations. Her focus is on creating a happy and balanced relationship between owners and their best friend. She has a passion for reading canine body language and working with a wide variety of dog behaviors to better transform the canine-human bond.

In her free time, Jodi loves spending time with her family outdoors. She enjoys traveling, camping, fishing and spending time on the lake.
