DR. KATE THEOBOLD

Associate DVM, Apple Valley

Dr. Katherine Theobold works as an Associate DVM at Vet Partners in Apple Valley. Her professional interests include internal medicine, oncology, and dermatology.

Dr. Theobold has a bachelor’s degree from Marquette University in biomedical engineering. After two summer internships at a medical device company, she realized her love for pets and their owners was far greater than her love for engineering and math. Dr. Theobold graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 2017 and has been practicing as a primary care veterinarian since then. She joined the Vet Partners Apple Valley team in April 2022. Her favorite part of being a veterinarian is forming relationships with owners and supporting the human-animal bond.

She is originally from Colorado and currently lives in the Twin Cities metro with her husband (Will), daughter (Maeve), and chocolate lab (Lambeau). Outside of work, Dr. Theobold enjoys cooking, exploring new restaurants, and traveling.
