Practice Owner and DVM, Minneapolis

Dr. Rachel Covi is an owner and a DVM at our Minneapolis hospital. Dr. Covi’s favorite part of her job is building relationships with clients and continuing to learn new things. Her medical interests include internal medicine, dentistry and geriatrics.

Before working at Vet Partners, Dr. Covi obtained her undergraduate degree in Animal Science from the University of Minnesota. She went on to graduate from the University of Minnesota, College of Veterinary Medicine, in 2010. After graduation, she has continuously worked in small animal general practice, then joined Vet Partners Pet Hospital in the summer of 2018.
In her free time, she keeps track of two little girls, two cats, a beagle and one husband.

Why did you become a vet?

I chose veterinary medicine for love of the human animal bond. Science and problem solving are a passion of mine. There is always something new to learn and never a dull day in practice.
