Katy works as a Certified Veterinary Technician at our Apple Valley hospital. She specializes in client education and emergency medicine.
Before working at Vet Partners, Katy completed her Associates degree in applied science at Argosy University in Veterinary Technology. She worked as a CVT at Apple Lake Animal Hospital for 14 years where she was able to do what she loves while developing long term relationships with clients and caring for patients. Katy also worked at an animal emergency hospital for several years on a part time basis to develop more specialized skills in emergency and critical care medicine.
In her free time, Katy enjoys spending time with her 3 small children and husband. Katy also loves the YMCA, biking, reading, gardening, and cooking.

Ren: Domestic Longhair, White with grey spots – 15 years old, loves laying in Katy’s lap and getting an ear or back massage. Doesn’t seem to mind the sometimes rough attention from 3 young kids.
Recently said goodbye to her beloved 14 year old pug “Monkey” in October.
