DR. MEGAN BLOMQUIST

Associate DVM

Dr. Megan Blomquist works as an Associate DVM at our Minneapolis hospital. Dr. Blomquist’s favorite part of her job is the relationships she is able to form with her patients and clients while caring for pets throughout the course of their lives. Her medical interests include preventative dentistry and internal medicine.

Before working as a DVM at Vet Partners, Dr. Blomquist worked at the practice as a veterinary technician since 2018. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Animal Science from the University of Minnesota. She went on to graduate from the University of Minnesota, College of Veterinary Medicine, in 2024. Since graduating, Dr. Blomquist seamlessly transitioned roles at Vet Partners MPLS, and continues to help our patients as a DVM.

In her free time, Dr. Blomquist loves to go on walks along the Mississippi River and explore state parks. She also enjoys doing jigsaw puzzles, baking, and working out.

Why did you become a vet?

It was something I had dreamed about since I was 5 years old. Pets were important to me, and I thought it would be amazing to be able to help them stay healthy.

Dr. Blomquist also had a mini goldendoodle named Zoey who passed away in 2022.
