DR. JOSEPH GREENE

Associate DVM, Plymouth

Dr. Joseph Greene works as an associate veterinarian at our Plymouth location. Dr. Greene’s favorite part of his job is taking on diagnostic challenges to help our fur legged friends live their best lives. He also has a passion for advanced diagnostic techniques such as abdominal ultrasound. He is certified for Fear Free and Low Stress handling.

Before working at Vet Partners, Dr. Greene received his undergraduate degree in Wildlife Management from Mississippi State University and then graduated from Mississippi State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. After graduation, Dr. Greene accepted an internship at the University of Tennessee Veterinary Medical Center and decided to pursue further training in Veterinary Internal Medicine. Following his internship, he spent the next few years at the University of Minnesota as an internal medicine resident where he received advanced training in advanced diagnostic techniques including ultrasound and endoscopy as well as managing a complicated medical condition such as kidney disease and diabetes. Falling in love with the Twin Cities, he remained in Minnesota in private practice and is now excited to join the Vet Partners team.

In his free time, Dr. Greene enjoys spending time with his husband, dog (Kirby) and cat (Penelope). He can usually be found outside on or near the water (weather permitting) or at a dog park. When the weather is less than ideal, he can found spending time with friends or reading a good book.
