Health History Review: A vet tech will ask you questions about your pet’s diet, behavior, exercise, bowel movements, urination, and lifestyle to identify potential concerns.
Physical Examination: A veterinarian conducts a comprehensive head-to-tail physical examination to check for abnormalities in a pet’s external features and internal organs. This assessment also evaluates the animal’s mobility, weight, and overall body condition to ensure optimal health.
Vital Signs Assessment: Includes measuring temperature, heart rate, respiratory rate, and hydration status.
Preventative Care: Preventive care involves keeping a pet’s vaccinations current and discussing strategies to prevent fleas, ticks, and heartworm. Additionally, a veterinarian evaluates the animal’s dental health and may recommend professional cleanings to maintain hygiene.
Personalized Recommendations: Our vet provides tailored advice on nutrition, exercise, behavior, or follow-up treatments based on findings. Laboratory tests may also be recommended, but are not included with the Wellness Kickstarter Package.
Rabies Vaccine
Protects Against
Rabies: A deadly viral infection with a near 100% mortality rate. It can be transmitted to dogs, cats, and humans from infected wildlife like bats, raccoons, and foxes.
Distemper Vaccine
Protects Against:
Distemper: A highly contagious and potentially fatal viral disease that attacks a dog’s and a cat’s respiratory, gastrointestinal, and nervous systems. Because there is no known cure, vaccination is considered essential for the health of all dogs and cats. This vaccine also protects dogs and cats from viral diseases such as canine parvo and feline herpes in addition to canine and feline distemper. Initial vaccination at around 6 to 8 weeks of age
