DR. MELISSA LEE
Associate DVM, Plymouth
Dr. Melissa Lee works as an Associate DVM at our Plymouth hospital. Dr. Lee’s favorite part of her job is learning something new every day. She specializes in fixing broken equipment in the hospital and bringing in excessive amounts of sugar to keep the hospital staff to running at top notch. Her medical interests include internal medicine, behavior, dentistry, and dermatology.
Before working at Vet Partners, Dr. Lee completed her undergraduate degree in Animal Science from Winona State University. She went on to graduate from the University of Minnesota, College of Veterinary Medicine, in 2009. After graduation, she worked at a busy small animal clinic, then joined Vet Partners Pet Hospital in the fall of 2016.
In her free time, Dr. Lee enjoys feeding her mild TV addiction, traveling, home renovations, and trying out new restaurants with her husband. Her 3 cats and 2 dogs work as a team to keep life interesting.

Pets:
Diesel: Great dane/Lab Mix – Couch potato who will take any snack you give her. Favorite treats include candy and cheese.
Stella: Boxer Mix – Loves all people and toys. There will never be enough squeakers. Sometimes too smart for her own good.
Melvin: Orange Tabby – Everything is on Melvin’s terms. He believes he is a dog and does not understand why he can’t go everywhere the dogs go. He also believes Stella is his mom. She is unsure.
Hobbs: Orange & White Tabby – Loves chewing on plastic. Can never get enough snuggles. He would prefer everyone stays home to cuddle each day.
Luna: Mini Panther – The newest addition to this zoo. She is currently teaching Melvin how to be a cat while letting him know she is in charge.
