Veterinary Technician, Minneapolis
Alexandra works as a Veterinary Technician at our Minneapolis hospital. Alexandra’s favorite part of her job is witnessing the special bond between animals and humans.
Before working at Vet Partners, Alexandra worked at an animal shelter in Washington DC as an animal caregiver. She realized her true passion was expanding her horizons towards veterinary medicine, so she began cross-training in the medical department at the shelter and then later on transferred to a veterinary clinic in DC.
In her free time, Alexandra hiking and enjoying nature, playing board games, painting, and ice skating.

Experience: Biking from Washington DC to Pittsburgh PA (350 miles) and camping along the way on the C&O Canal and the Great Allegheny Passage.

Pets:
I have two Domestic Longhairs, Sammy and Sophie. They are my foster fails from the animal shelter where I previously worked at.
Sophie is a very smart, playful hunter. She loves spending time on her cat tree supervising my husband while he is working from home. She got promoted to be the “Branch Manager” of my husband as well.
Sammy lives to eat and sleep. He has never caught anything. He is very adventurous, loves to snuggle, and demands to be the little spoon every time.
