CHARESE

Veterinary Assistant, Plymouth

Charese works as a veterinary technician at Vet Partners Plymouth. She loves being able to provide comfort to animals during yearly wellness checks but also during urgent care visits where most pets need even more comfort as their families aren’t able to be with them so I take it upon myself to be their family while they are here!

Before joining the Vet Partners Plymouth team, Chares was a veterinary assistant and worked as a surgical technician in medical research. Her time in medical research made her realize how much she missed working in veterinary medicine but it prepared her how to handle those tough urgent care cases.

When Charese is not at the hospital, she loves spending time outside with her family traveling in their fifth wheel camper that they love to take all over the country with their three dogs. They participate in all the fun of exploring the country on long bike rides, kayaking, and this past year she even went white water rafting for the first time! She also spends a lot of time practice shooting sports.

Keys to Her Heart:

  1. Food: her grandma’s homemade chicken noodle soup
  2. Music: Morgan Wallen
  3. Experience: Any traveling – as of 2023 she only has NINE states left to see all 50!
  4. Animal: Senior dogs & elephants

Pets:

Sugar – Is a 13 year old morkie who she received as a Christmas gift when she was nine from Santa. A little fun fact about her is that she loves going kayaking!
Bailey – Is a 12 year old shih tzu. Bailey came into her life when her previous owner couldn’t take care of her anymore. A little fun fact about her is that she is in love with baby chickens and tries to take them from their mom (AH!).
Honorably mention: Little Smo – he was an ancient yorkie who a high school friend of hers found on the side of the road 4 years ago. Smo lived a life a luxury and spent his days eating, sleeping, and being carried around by Charese.
