Dr. Alanna Monn an Associate DVM at our Osseo hospital. Dr. Monn’s interests include client education, especially for puppies and kittens trying to get them started on the right track for a long and healthy life.

Dr. Monn grew up in South Minneapolis near Lake Nokomis and attended high school at/graduated from Academy of Holy Angels. She attended undergrad at University of Wisconsin Eau Claire and received her B.S. in Biology in 1999. She then attended veterinary school at University of Minnesota and earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. Dr. Monn has worked in various small animal practices in the Twin Cities since graduating and has been self-employed as a relief/part-time veterinarian since 2012. She became certified in veterinary spinal manipulation therapy and medical acupuncture in 2012 and 2013. Dr. Monn gets to travel to Turks & Caicos at least twice a year to help out the island dogs and cats, as well.

In her free time, Dr. Monn can be found traveling to tropical locations, taxiing her teenagers to various sports and activities, walking around her neighborhood with her husband and elderly dog, and playing Disney Emoji Blitz on her phone.

Bella: Italian Greyhound x Cavalier King Charles Spaniel – 16.5 years old, can take up nearly an entire king size bed despite only weighing 17 pounds.
