Anesthesia and Surgery

Surgical Services:  Our surgical suite provides for the performance of a wide variety of surgical procedures.

Anesthesia:  We utilize the safest available anesthetics to provide that extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high-risk patients. Using the most modern equipment, the patient’s vital signs are monitored during all anesthetic procedures. Your pet’s vital signs will be monitored by their EKG, heart rate, pulse oximetry, internal body temperature, blood pressure and respiratory rate.  Additionally, a trained veterinary technician will manually and visually monitor your pet during surgery and recovery.

Pain Management: Keeping your pet as comfortable as possible from the time they check-in for surgery until the time their procedure has healed is of utmost importance to us. Your dog or cat will receive multi-modal pain management before, during and after the procedure to keep your pet comfortable throughout the entire surgical process. We routinely prescribe at-home pain medication during the post-operative period to keep your pet comfortable during recovery at home.
